She also revealed that she's doing great after battling stage 2 pancreatic cancer earlier this year. Menounos shared that she is performing well. She's feeling great. and I am grateful to be healthy. Litsa Menounos, Maria's mom was diagnosed with glioblastomamultiforme (GBM) which is a cancerous and difficult-to-treat form of brain cancer, at the end of August 2016 in the age of 60. Menounos took care of her mother as she went through radiation and chemotherapy. Mariah Carey is an American singer songwriter record producer and actress. Guinness World Records calls her the Songbird Supreme. She is well-known for her songwriting abilities and a five-octave range in vocals, and a melismatic style.
